Synopsis[]

Manga editor Ritsu Onodera is still working as hard as ever under his relentless editor in chief—and first love—Masamune Takano. And although his skills as an editor continue to improve, his unrealistic goal of being Takano’s equal gets the better of him, causing Ritsu to collapse from overwork. Fed up, Takano declares that, in order to prevent another such collapse, he will now have to manage Ritsu’s private life. Ritsu knows he should be mad, but Takano’s concern for his health touches him in ways he doesn’t care to admit.[1]

Plot[]

In "The Case of Ritsu Onodera No.16," Ritsu Onodera collapses from the stress of overwork and self-neglect. Ryuichiro Isaka takes him to the hospital and calls Masamune Takano, and the two discuss Ritsu's family and the expectations on him. Takano inspects Ritsu's food-less fridge and insists on taking charge of his nutrition. They discuss Ritsu's overwork and his eagerness to improve. When Takano starts to leave, Ritsu grabs onto him to stay. They get intimate, and Ritsu passes out immediately after. On Monday, Emerald finishes moving to their new office, and Takano complains that he's cleaning up again because he spent the weekend cleaning Ritsu's messy apartment, announcing to the department that he did it out of "love," to Ritsu's embarrassment.

In "The Case of Ritsu Onodera No.17," Takano is insistent on keeping track of Ritsu's nutrition, and Ritsu runs into Arata Haitani which causes tension with Takano. After another stressful work day, Takano insists on dinner, which Ritsu declines. On his way home, Ritsu runs into Haitani who's kissing another guy, and Haitani offers to "buy his silence" by taking him to dinner. The two discuss Takano's work for Weekly Earth. Takano learns that Ritsu was with Haitani and gets jealous, and the two talk about their relationship, with Ritsu frustrated that Takano doesn't listen to him and that they're going about a relationship out of order. Takano offers to make some changes and confesses to Ritsu again.

“The Case of Kou Yukina No.2,” starts with Shouta Kisa having just left the wedding of a high school friend to get dinner with Kou Yukina. As they leave, Shinta Amemiya, Kisa’s ex-lover from high school, runs into them and recognizes Kisa. They exchange business cards and go their separate ways. Due to the way Kisa acts after this interaction, Yukina starts to get jealous, thinking that Kisa might be catching feelings for his ex. His negative feelings begin bleeding into his paintings, to the point that Professor Yamada calls him out on it. Later, on his way to get dinner with Kisa, Yukina finds him meeting up with Amemiya, and he pulls Kisa away. Kisa explains they had been meeting for business purposes because Amemiya works at a printing company. They reaffirm their love for each other, and for now everything is going smoothly again.

In “The Case of Shouta Kisa No.6,” Kisa has just gotten home amid a rain storm and decides to take a nap. He’s surprised to find Yukina sleeping on his bed, but doesn’t particularly mind. They have dinner together and Kisa is talking about how he messed up at work, and Yukina offers to hug him, which Kisa takes him up on.
