Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi ~Onodera Ritsu no Baai 7~ (世界一初恋 〜小野寺律の場合7〜), or The World's Greatest First Love: The Case of Ritsu Onodera 7, is the seventh volume of the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi manga series.
The special edition of this volume came with a 32-page booklet containing newly drawn stories.

Synopsis[]
Overworked Emerald manga editor Ritsu Onodera is still stuck reporting to tyrannical editor in chief Masamune Takano, Ritsu’s first love! Recently, work has been going fairly well for the rookie editor—but then his lack of confidence causes him to panic. To add to his anxiety, his ex-fiancée, An, asks him point-blank if he’s in love with Takano! If it’s that obvious to her, who else may have noticed?![1]
Plot[]
In "The Case of Ritsu Onodera No.12," Ritsu Onodera is concerned about his author's lower rankings, and his mother collapsing has him rushing to the hospital. He meets An Kohinata at the hospital, and she's confused to see Masamune Takano with him, but she sees the look on Ritsu's face before Takano leaves. An later guesses that he and Takano are together. Ritsu initially tries to deny it, but admits the truth, and An is accepting. Takano overhears them and An tells him not to make Ritsu cry before she leaves. Takano and Ritsu stop by the bookstore and overhear some girls buying Satou's new manga. The go home and have sex. Another day at work, Takano gives Ritsu a training manual he compiled himself. Shouta Kisa warns Ritsu of the intense training to come that they've all suffered.
In "The Case of Ritsu Onodera No.13," it's Ritsu's birthday. Just as Takano tries to make plans for Ritsu's big day, Ryuichiro Isaka announces his flower-viewing party on the same day, and it falls on Ritsu to plan the venue. At the party, Ritsu drinks too much as some young women chat him up. Takano takes Ritsu home, and Ritsu wakes up in Takano's bed. Five minutes before midnight, Takano wishes him happy birthday and they have sex. The next day at work, the women from the party try to get Ritsu to go out for drinks with them, but Takano gets jealous and invites them to join him instead.
In “The Case of Kou Yukina No.1,” Kou Yukina is concerned about his future career path and if he’ll be able to make a living with his fine arts background. Critiques from a particularly harsh Professor Yamada have him doubting his work. All the while, he is still having trouble finding the time to be able to meet up with Shouta Kisa due to their schedules never quite cooperating. When they’re finally able to meet up after work one day, Kisa arrives right as Yukina is receiving a confession from an unnamed girl. The situation is quickly resolved, but as they walk to Kisa’s apartment, Yukina begins to worry Kisa is getting tired of him. The next day it’s revealed that Kisa is sick, and upon hearing this Yukina rushes to his bedside to take care of him. They talk things out and reaffirm their love for each other, putting Yukina’s worries to rest. Next seen at school, we find that Yukina is finally able to get some positive feedback from Yamada, only after painting Kisa for an assignment.
"The Case of Ritsu Onodera No.13.5" is a short three-page chapter that takes place during No.13 in the early morning after Ritsu's birthday. Just as Ritsu starts to get out of bed to leave, Takano catches him and convinces him to stay. The next morning, he makes Ritsu breakfast.
